Boonara Mentor is by the top Campdrafting stallion, Dogwood Comet and his two Grandsires are the legendary Warrenbri Romeo and Elliotts Creek Cadet. He also features the bloodlines of foundation sire Humewood Millman and the well-performed impact sire, Rivoli Ray. 

 

As a colt Mentor won the Working Section of the 3 year old National Futurity in 2006 and he also came 1st in the Station Horse colt 3 and under while placing in the Working, Hack, and Pleasure Hack at the 2006 Nationals. 

 

Whilst a 4 year old Mentor won the Monto Gold Buckle Challenge and was Reserve Champion at Paradise Lagoons Challenge. His first maiden draft was won at Proston Golden Spurs and he continued to win Open Challenges and Open Campdrafts.
